Are you a senior/ older adult who is the primary caregiver for children?

OLDER RELATIVE CAREGIVER'S PROGRAM IS HERE TO HELP!

The National Family Caregiver Support Program also recognizes the needs of seniors/ older adults who are the primary caregivers of children and those individuals who are affected by intellectual or developmental disabilities.

A senior/ older adult/ older relative caregiver must be 55 years or older and the primary caregiver of a child (18 or younger). Program sponsors the cost of Tutoring, After-School Programs, & Summer Camps for children, giving a break to the caregiver.

An assessment will be completed with the caregiver help determine eligibility for services. Proof of residency for the child is also required to show their primary residence. This can be documentation from schools, medical offices or the state, showing the child's name and address.
