Santee-Lynches Rural Transportation Planning Program

Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) FY 2024- FY 2033

Notice for Public Comment & Public Hearing

 

The Santee-Lynches Regional Council of Governments, the transportation planning agency for the non-urbanized areas of Clarendon, Kershaw, Lee, and Sumter Counties, is requesting the public to review and provide comments on the Draft FY 2024 – FY 2023 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).  The TIP is a short-term programming document that lists transportation improvement projects to receive full or partial federal funding in fiscal years 2024 – 2033. The document will be available for review on or before June 3, 2024, at the Santee-Lynches Councils of Governments office and on the SLCOG website at

Any changes to the report will be posted on the website. The comment period begins on May 3, 2024. Written comments on the proposed TIP amendments will be accepted until close of business on June 6, 2024. Please send your comments to Jeff Parkey, Regional Planning Director at jparkey@slcog.org. Public comments can also be made in person at the SLCOG Policy Committee meeting on June 6, 2024, at Central Carolina Technical College, Bldg. M400, in Sumter, South Carolina at 6:00 PM.

Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) 2050

Notice for Public Comment

 

The Santee-Lynches Regional Council of Governments, the transportation planning agency for the non-urbanized areas of Clarendon, Kershaw, Lee, and Sumter Counties, is requesting the public to review and provide comments on the Draft Long Range Transportation Plan 2050 (LRTP).  The LRTP is a long-term planning document that identifies potential transportation improvement projects to the year 2050. The document will be available for review on or before June 3, 2024, at the Santee-Lynches Councils of Governments office and on the SLCOG website at
