Economic Development

Santee-Lynches is designated as an Economic Development District (EDD) by the U.S. Economic Development Administration. As an EDD, Santee-Lynches works with EDA, local economic developers, and others to develop and maintain a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS), that identifies needs and prioritized projects for the region.

Santee-Lynches also assists local governments in identifying, securing, and administering resources for a wide range of economic development activities including water and sewer facilities, educational facilities, downtown improvements, and community facilities.
